Homelessness Is a Very Bad Word

Santa Barbra, California is taking a novel approach to the growing number of homeless people in the area. Every evening, a dozen private and municipal parking lots throughout the city are transformed into relatively safe outdoor lodging for some of the estimated 300 people who are now homeless and living out of their cars.
