Delphi’s Disappearing Benefits

Chuck Harrington of Troy, Mich., is one of thousands of Delphi salaried retirees set to lose health care benefits on April 1.

Harrington started working for GM in the 1970s before being involuntarily transferred to Delphi during the spinoff. After being forced into early retirement, he is now one of many in the Detroit area looking for another job in order to keep up with the rising cost of living.
