Rockers Need Health Plans, Too

Members of the southern rock band Gov’t Mule don’t think the glitz of international travel and throngs of adoring fans should take the place of health care coverage.

“You don’t find a lot of bands who are offering health care for the band and crew,” says manager Stefani Scamardo, who adds that the coverage is subsidized by concert profits.
