Informing voters – All 140 Virginia General Assembly seats are up for grabs this Nov. 6, and AARP Virginia aims to highlight candidates’ positions on such issues as expanding alternatives for long-term care, improving access to health care, ending predatory lending practices and offering more transportation choices to residents. On its statewide tour to underscore issues important to voters age 50-plus, the red, white and blue AARP Voter Express van will log more than 8,000 miles by Election Day.
