Both the shots and the nasal spray versions of the vaccine are available at the health system's primary care clinics, according to a news release from the health system.

Appointments are not necessary to receive the vaccine at family medicine clinics, the release said.

Parents with children enrolled at the Womack Pediatrics Clinic should call for a vaccination appointment.

Womack Army Medical Center will begin vaccinating active-duty soldiers when the Department of Defense supply of the vaccine arrives.

Womack officials will continue to update patients as more supplies of the vaccine arrive, the release said.
