Act locally — AARP volunteers stand ready to present information on health care reform to civic groups, faith-based communities and business organizations throughout Kentucky.

Millions of Americans lack access to affordable health care, and many are just one medical emergency away from bankruptcy. Others face the prospect of having their premiums double over the next 10 years—or losing coverage altogether.

Dollars and sense — "Buyer Beware," a DVD from the Campaign for Wise and Safe Investing, is available at no cost to groups of 25 or more. Funded by the AARP Foundation and the Investor Protection Trust, the campaign aims to protect Americans against fraud. AARP Kentucky is distributing the DVD in cooperation with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions to help consumers learn how to protect themselves from identity theft and investment scams.
