A fall harvest luncheon held by the Dover Officers’ Spouses Club will be at 10 a.m. at the Landings Club, Dover Air Force Base. Halloween Longaberger Basket and Vera Bradley Bingo with Miss Delaware 2009 Heather Lehman will begin at 7 p.m., with doors open at 6 p.m., at the Camden-Wyoming Fire Hall, 200 Camden-Wyoming Ave., Camden. Items needed are disposable cameras, sun block, snack food (pre-packaged cookies, crackers, microwave popcorn), coffee (not instant), batteries (AA, AAA and C), fly strips, microwave meals that do not need refrigeration, oatmeal packets (ready to serve), international or USA calling cards, DVDs (new or used), juice pouches (no boxes), mini travel games or card games (Uno, Skip-Bo), hand warmers and room fresheners. Constructing Your Own Fun will be held at noon at the Harrington Public Library, 110 E. Center St. The program is for preschoolers and young children, who will get right down on the floor and build something using pieces (provided by the Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation) to make their own structures, and a roller coaster that will give a ball a looping thrill ride. Singer/songwriter Paul Kranz will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Smyrna Opera House, corner of South and Main streets, Smyrna.
