Department spokeswoman Patti Woodcock said the Health Department received 6,600 doses; 5,100 are injectables.

With the arrival, the county will resume its vaccinations at Tucson Electric Park today.

The clinic is scheduled for 1 to 7 p.m. at the stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way.

County clinics are expected to continue through mid-November. The clinics will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.

Woodcock said the Saturday clinic will be held this week if enough vaccine doses are left. She said 6,600 doses should be enough for the Tuesday and Thursday clinics.

Those eligible for the nasal spray, a live, attenuated vaccine, are: children and young adults ages 2 to 24; healthy household contacts and caregivers of children younger than 6 months of age who are less than 50 years old; and healthy health-care and emergency-medical-services personnel.

The county is for now limiting injectable vaccines to pregnant women; children and young adults from 6 months through 24 years, including those with chronic health conditions; health-care workers; and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months of age.
