Of course it is. In a few decades it'll be a new ice age scare again. So we should do nothing since the planet seems to be able to take care of itself.

Both political sides have exaggerated the existence of and value of statistical evidence and its projected consequence. Science is a constant dialog of debating fact and consequence. No political or religious dogma has ever successfully stifled reality in the long run. We only suffer the consequence of ignorance.

Since it is a proven fact that it has happened in the past you can not stop global warming!

I agree global warming is taking place. It has been since the ice age. It is what has made the earth habitable for all the creatures, including man, that are now on it. I also believe that man contributes to it. However, I also believe that if every man, woman and child did all the things possible to decrease global warming from this point on, we would maybe save one-one-billionth of a nano second of earth's remaining time. That's not to say we should not conserve our resources and use them wisely. I don't believe earth's time will be up with the next generation. All of it's inhabitants will change ("evolve") as the earth changes and it's resources are used up.
