The government has no reason to stick their nose into professional sport. This country is in bad enough shape as it is. Let them concentrate on our basic issues.

No. Professional athletics is a multi-billion dollar entertainment industry. If they want to grow four legs and bone plated heads then that is their folly. But they must not expect Federal, State and local governments to fund their stadiums and industry.

If someone wants to ruin their body by taking human growth hormones what do I care? There is no such thing as sports anymore; it is all big business. Professional athletes are nothing but a commodity.

The use of steroids and human growth hormones by professional athletes is a personal choice. Students are given an opportunity to learn the effect of drugs on the human body. One cannot legislate against stupidity and congress has one heck of a lot to get straightened out as a result of previous government action. So forget steroids and work on problems that concern the other 95% of the population.
